Care Groups are the heart of Word Of Life Church, out of which the Body of Christ here is nurtured, trained and leadership is raised up. Care Groups are usually comprised of 8 to 12 members each who meets weekly in a host home. Each group has a leader, trainee leader, host, resource coordinator, prayer coordinator and administrator. It is where individual members are nurtured and cared for and neighborhoods are impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Once a month Care Group members gather to reach out and evangelize to the local neighborhoods.

Care Groups are also a place where spiritual gifts can be practiced and perfected in a safe, encouraging atmosphere and where we get to know each other. Basically, Care Groups are about relationship. It is through healthy relationships that the Church will reach a higher level of maturity because strong relationships become a sanctuary where God can rest His glory.

Word Of Life also offers Marriage Care Groups for couples that want to strengthen their marriages, Teen Care Groups and “specialty” groups like 3S (Slim, Satisfied and Successful).

It is our desire to help married couples experience the fullness of God’s glory. These Holy Spirit-inspired Care Groups will equip individuals to be the husband or wife that God desires them to be, thus receiving the full benefit of their marriage covenant. True happiness and fulfillment in marriage is an attainable goal and these groups will enable you to realize it. God has opened the door for you to succeed in your marriage. • Couples looking to “jump start” their marriage and return to their first love
