Word of Life gladly distributes food to those in the community who are in need. Anyone in need can come and pick up free bags of food during the times stated below.
Sundays from 12:30 - 1:00p.m. directly after service in the sanctuary (see an usher for exact location)
Also, the people who are a part of the Adopt -a- Block program meet on the Church Property at 10am every Saturday. We go to a part of town that we have “adopted” with our Adopt-a-Block truck and build relationship with the people in that area. The Adopt-a-Block volunteers share the Good News, as well as the Love of Jesus by doing puppet shows for the children, handing out food and ices, and face painting. If there is a person in need, we will mow their lawn or help them with yard work. The Adopt-a- Block program was created out of a strong desire to show the love and kindness of our Lord. Please come be a part of this wonderful ministry and let someone read the Bible by looking at your life.
